THE HOSTS
Thanos and Georgia are a warm and welcoming couple with a passion for cooking, good company, photography, and crafts. During the last ten years, they have been living in the heart of nature with their 8-year-old son.
Both working in the private sector -Thanos in fiber optics and Georgia in the tourism industry- they decided to leave the bustling city of Thessaloniki and move to the old grandparents’ home, in the serene village of Exochi.
Since then, they have frequently hosted friends who come to enjoy the peaceful village atmosphere and the delightful barbecues they organize. Their excitement for meeting new people and their love for traditional food inspired them to offer a genuine taste of Greek hospitality through their cooking class.

APPETIZERS
Tzatziki Sauce
Tzatziki is probably the most famous Greek dip, simply consisting of strained yoghurt, garlic, cucumber, dill, and olive oil.
Grilled Vegetables
A trademark of Greek countryside, this summer dish combines the distinctive flavors of mushrooms, zucchinis, eggplants, and peppers.
Katsamaki
This local delicacy exploits the softness of feta cheese and the strong character of spicy peppers.
SALAD
Greek Salad with Feta Cheese
Also known as Horiatiki the popular Greek salad is made with tomatoes, cucumbers, onions, and olive oil.

THE PLACE
Thanos and Georgia’s place is situated in the quaint village of Exochi in Pieria, just 10 km away from the city of Katerini, in Northern Greece. Their property offers stunning views of Mount Olympus, the legendary mountain of the gods according to Greek mythology, and the Pierian Mountains, known as the abode of the Muses—the goddesses of music, dance, festivity, and poetry.
The house is surrounded by olive trees and various greenery, fruit-bearing or not. The couple shares this idyllic setting with their friendly dog, Brandy, an adorable cat named Mitsos, and a few chickens that provide them fresh eggs daily. Occasionally, they also raise pigs for their meat, further enhancing their self-sufficient lifestyle.
BOOKING POLICIES
If the minimum number of participants is not completed up to 48 hours before a scheduled event, then the event may not take place and its bookings may not be able to be approved.
If a participant cancels their booking up to 48 hours before a scheduled event, they are entitled to receive a full refund. A later cancellation will not be refundable.
