THE EXPERIENCE

Olga’s event is one of the most immersive Greek culinary experiences you could select during your stay in Athens. 

Walk in a bright, warm house, full of small vintage details, where Olga spends her everyday life, tending her beautiful garden. 

Join a 3 – hour interactive session and indulge in a variety of delicious Mediterranean dishes. Let your hostess guide you on how to work with Greek ingredients, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable cooking experience. 

Last but not least, have lunch with Olga and other participants, share interesting stories with each other and clink your glasses! That special memory of Greece will stay forever in your heart!

THE HOST

 

Olga, with a background in Public Health and a deep-rooted passion for providing support and comfort to those in need, now dedicates herself to energy therapy and to cooking authentic recipes for people all around the world. 

Her love for gastronomy developed at a young age influenced by her family gatherings, and as a university student she worked in the hospitality industry where she found solace and joy in the act of preparing and sharing meals. 

She takes care of every single ingredient in her meals and the process of cooking becomes a ritual for her.

APPETIZERS

Kalamon Olives
From Koroneiki and Kalamata, to Megaritiki and Throuba, Greece is home to a great abundance
of olive tree varieties.

Corn Bread with Sunflower Seeds and Τurmeric
A bread traditionally made from fresh yeast is a typical element of the Greek village culture.

 

MAIN COURSES

Chickpeas and Eggplants Yahni
In Greek cuisine, Yahni is a stew of meat, fish or vegetables in a browned-onion base with
tomatoes and olive oil.

Rice with Leeks or Cabbage
These two vegan dishes are usually consumed during Sarakosti, a seven-week period that
precedes Easter in Greece.

 

DESSERTS

Spoon Sweets
Such desserts, which combine seasonal fruits, vegetables, or nuts with sugar, are traditionally
offered to guests as a gesture of welcome.

Greek Coffee
The traditional Greek coffee, a strong brew, is served with foam on the top (kaimaki) and the
grounds at the bottom of the cup.

THE PLACE

Kallithea, located in the southern part of Athens, is one the closest suburbs to the city center. With its name translating to “beautiful view”, the area is known for its vibrant atmosphere, bustling streets, and diverse community. 

The area is home to a mix of residential neighborhoods, commercial districts, and cultural landmarks, making it a lively and dynamic part of Athens. 

The neighborhood is accessible by trolley, taxi or your own vehicle and Olga will offer you valuable tips for exploring the nearby Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center, only 20 minutes away from her doorstep.

 

BOOKING POLICIES

  • If the minimum number of participants is not completed up to 48 hours before a scheduled event, then the event may not take place and its bookings may not be able to be approved. 
  • If a participant cancels their booking up to 48 hours before a scheduled event, they are entitled to receive a full refund. A later cancellation will not be refundable.
